Headgears

Mummy is into headgears for Isabelle. It's like my lastest craze! The truth is she looks good with them so I have been getting them for her. Joelle does not take to headgears very well now because she was never used to wearing one when she was younger so it's so difficult to get her to tie her hair, wear a cap or a nice little hat. Even those fanciful hair clips and flowery hairbands does not entice her to keep her hair out of the mess! I'm hoping that Isabelle would take to headgears better so we are starting her young. Hmmm... she seems to like it when we praise her for keeping it on her head. So far, she has not learn to yank it off her head so we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Computer's down...

If you are wondering what happen to me and my girls, well... it's the computer's fault! (err... nevermind the fact that I was busy, tired and a little lazy...) Anyway my computer is now undergoing an autopsy. It's now lying in my room, opened with its guts (hard disks) taken out and awaiting a verdict - to throw or to repair. I'm now using my brother's laptop (which i have borrowed for a day due to work urgency) and waiting for the PC show end of this month. We have decided to invest in a laptop so I can work from anywhere if home is too inappropriate (too noisy, too needed, too hot or too distracted).

Latest developments...
Isabelle has learn to move from sitting to crawling position and lately from crawling to sitting position. She is moving around very very quickly too, though still in her famous leopard crawl. She knows how to call for my attention, which I swear I hear her say mum..mee. Even my helper says it sounds like it. She is laughing more, screaming more and babbling more too.

Joelle is taking her role as big sister very seriously. She's been instructing her younger sister, correcting her, reprimanding her and punishing her sometimes too. But she does protects her, defends her (to our surprise actually) and loves her very much too. Joelle is really sweet at times. She's been exercising alot too. Climbing up flights of stairs home after school everyday. Thank goodness it's not me fetching her!

Dave's been busy with work and his girls. Yes, me included.

I've been creating new and interesting menus for the girls. More so for joelle as she can try more stuff. Isabelle is trying quinoa and millet and recently some fish. Her favourite is pumpkin for its sweetness. Joelle enjoys the Japanese rice balls that I like to do for her. I've been trying out cakes too. Not those baking stuff but vegetable and meat cakes or fish and pasta cakes. It's one way to make her less choosy over her dishes especially some vegetables cos it looks good and new so she's more willing to try. I'm gonna try macaroni and cheese pie soon cos "barney" has this mac and cheese song that she likes. It's fun doing them, the whole process - going to the library with joelle, picking out the cookbooks, looking and getting attracted to the nice pictures, shopping for the stuff, making them and of course seeing how excited joelle is and hearing her say it's yummy! Hmmm... I'm beginning to enjoy such a simple life. Sigh... I might not get use to work when it comes in June.
